2020 has been a very difficult time for the entire world. There has been a new obstacle after another. Despite all the hardships, our God is always there with us and will continue to uplift us. In Matthew 18:20 it states, “When two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Although we are not able to pray together physically at church, God is always within our midst.
“Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen takes the listener through an emotional journey of pain to joy. The word “Hallelujah” is heard multiple times throughout Mass and is used as praise or thanks for our Lord. This song can be used as a reminder to never lose hope. We must not lose faith in God and become discouraged due to the current circumstances, but rather continue to give praise and thanks to him. As a community, we must continue to pray and show support for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ who are currently facing difficult times. By uniting with one another and praying together, we can make a difference.
Thanks be to God!
